CUSTOMIZING INTERIOR DOOR HARDWARE WITH SCHLAGE
In case you are new to Our Uncluttered House you may not know we are huge fans of Schlage Locks. Can you imagine our excitement when we heard Schlage was launching a custom hardware line this year that just so happened to coincide with us moving into our new home? I call that fate!
First on our agenda was changing locks on our new home so naturally we was chose Schlage Connect Smart Locks for all three of our exterior doors and absolutely LOVE them! After the exterior doors were outfitted, we immediately got to work on the inside of our home. After we painted our interior doors black last month, I knew without a doubt I wanted to pair them with black hardware. While we chose lever style handles for our exterior doors, I wanted a more classic look for the interior doors. I mean who needs everything matchy-matchy anyway right? Definitely not me!
The new Scalage Custom line has such a wide variety of styles and finishes it made it very difficult to choose! The possibilities are endless. Here are just a few of the beautiful options I considered:
But you know me and my love of all things black, we finally decided on the Georgian Knob with Camelot Trim in Matte Black finish. They look stunning again the black doors and are a perfect match to the personality and style of the rest of our home.
These two doors are in the loft of our new home and they finish this space off perfectly.
