Pulling a Space Together With a Rug
When I style a room I always like to start with a rug….well maybe not START with a rug, but it’s my go to for pulling a space together, grounding it, if you will.
Let me show you….
We recently finished our basement and picking paint, furniture, decor items and rugs, is my most favourite part. Today i’m sharing how I decorated one of our newly built bedrooms and pulled it all together with a beautiful rug from CC Bazaar - one of my fave showrooms at Improve Canada
Warm, dark paint colours are always my fave but in this case I wanted to lighten the space by adding a wallpaper accent wall, a mix of light and dark furniture as well as various textures and colours of bedding.
Green, cream, black, white, pink and even pops of yellow are all pulled together with the gorgeous persian inspired area rug from CC Bazaar. Instant coziness.
